Welcome to the latest SFE Price Guide!

Did someone say TREASURE HUNTING?

Well, the last couple of months have been a very exciting time in Entropia.  First, along came Planet Cyrene, then Arkadia launched the long awaited Treasure Hunting!  In any case, those have been the two main things on our radar, and they seem to have had an unusal impact on prices.  Or something has, anyway!

Things have been quite dynamic to say the least, and one thing we've noticed is a very significant increase in markup for quite a lot of the common resources.  This is the first time in a long time that I can recall having to shift a lot of our prices upward.  We've been getting used to bringing them down!

On the flipside, with markups as they are, I'm thinking it is probably an excellent time to be a miner.  If you haven't mined for a while, my tip is to dust off your finder and give it another go!  And while you're at it, keep an eye out for Rugaritz.

We want everyone to know that we will always buy Rugaritz.  And on that note, here are our price changes for June.

Price Adjustments

Rugaritz has dropped a bit, but that fact has completely failed to correlate with a bit more supply.  So while we can reduce our prices on armours like Trooper (and have recently done the same with Phantom), it doesn't make any difference because there's no Rugaritz with which to make them!  At the same time, Dunkel Plastix has continued to drop in price, and that really made a difference to Trooper.  Some armours we have already dropped prices on recently, but watch this:
  • Trooper decreased by SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR PED for a suit!: And that's for the six pieces we have Blueprints for (no Foot Guards, though we know the guy who has some clicks left).  The price of our six pieces of Trooper dropped from TT + 3,194 ped down to TT + 2,470 ped.
Durulium exploded in the last month from its normal price range of approximately 115% to 120%, to a whopping 160%, which had an unusual impact on two armours in particular:
  • Berserker increased by 16.4 ped for the six pieces we craft:  With Foot Guards rare as hen's teeth, and four pieces of the suit being affected by the price of Durulium, our price went from TT + 74.6 ped up to TT + 91 ped :(  The pieces that changed were Face Guard, Gloves, Harness and Shin Guards.
  • Zombie (L) has increased by 39.65 ped for a full suit:  Animal Liver Oil's increase contributed to this a little too.  The cost of a full set has gone from 457.50 ped up to 497.15 ped.
Erdorium has snuck up somewhat, and it's pushed all our finely tuned Rascal (L) figures out of whack:
  • Rascal (L) increased by 1.81 ped (sniffle!): It's no longer the nice round 140% its been for as long as I can remember.  At 143%, Rascal (L) has finally moved from 84.91 ped up by 1.81 ped to 86.72 ped for a suit.  We hope you regular Rascal (L) buyers can forgive us.
  • Renegade increased by 2.70 ped for a full suit:  Factoring in the increases in Alicenies Gel and Lysterium as well, we've had to nudge it up from TT + 50.20 ped to TT + 52.90 ped.
Iron jumped a fair bit, particularly in the last month, which makes miners happy and me sad:
  • Guardian has increased by 3.20 ped for a full suit:  The price of all seven pieces moved from TT + 23.80 ped to TT + 27.00 ped.
Caldorite also leapt up in the last month:
  • Bodyguard increased by 2.90 ped:  The price of a full suit moved from TT + 29.90 ped to 32.80 ped.
Megan and Lytairian have both climbed a bit over the last few months, again particularly the last few weeks.
  • Pioneer increased by 1.50 ped:  The cost of a full suit moved from TT + 15.70 ped up to TT + 17.20 ped.
Last but not least, a piece of good news to end on.  Langotz, Strengthened Metal Plating and Platinum have all been dropping lately, and it's about time we moved Spectre (L) down to reflect that.  You can now buy Spectre off us in the 170%-177%  range.
  • Spectre (L) decreased by 139.88 ped: Prices dropped from 1242.03 ped for a full TT suit down to 1102.15 ped. Not bad for an armour that gives you 31 impact and 28 burn protection (among other things!).

Notes and tips

Just in case you missed it, we slashed 724 ped from the price of a set of Trooper.  Ridiculous, but that's SFE for you.  Ridiculous.

No, wait.  Who let the monkey at the keyboard?

Until next month!
