Entropians,
I would like to bring your attention to a temporary drop in our regular and normally reliable service levels.
As you may or may not know, Southern Fortress Engineering is now in its fourth year of providing a valuable service to the Entropian community, with our mission statement being:
"SFE is dedicated to presenting to Entropia Universe
a wide range of crafted armour at fair prices,
with great service, reliability and convenience"
Normally this means we restock our shops on a daily basis, and full suits of armour are always available (except for those whose Foot Guards are extremely and inexplicably rare).
At the moment however, for a few reasons, we can't deliver that service, despite our best efforts:
1. There is a bug that means that we cannot place any Arm Guards or Face Guards anywhere. So when an Arm or Face sell, we can't replace them. Before the latest update, this bug for a short period applied to ALL armour pieces. We thought they'd fixed it, but alas only partly. Kudos to MA|FPC for at least working on it!
2. There is a bug that means that every time you place a piece of armour, it appears upside down. It doesn't stop us from turning it around, but it does make the job of restocking more time-consuming than it needs to be. We've had a support case for this one going on for a very long time.
3. SFE itself is in a stage of transition, for a variety of reasons - not least the fact that the EU landscape has been changing quite dramatically of late. IRL some of us have quite large study and work and life changes as well, which are temporarily affecting the time we are each able to put in to running our business.
Put all of those things together and at the moment there's a chance that you won't find the full set of armour you seek on the shelf.
On the positive side, our Ordering system isn't bugged! If you send an email to [email]orders@southernfortress.com.au[/email], you can ask us for any armour that isn't on the shelf.
We sincerely apologise in advance for any inconvenience this causes, especially to our regular customers who have come to rely on us when replacing their limited armour or adding to their armour collections.
Please be assured that it's only a temporary disturbance. When the bugs are fixed, we'll be back to business as usual.
